[Ever wanted to get a message from a messenger bird? Well, here is one, courtesy of Taka.]


Dear Athena,

I have found two individuals who may be able to help you with your headaches:

1. Dr Naomi Kimishima. I have spoken with her but briefly, but she claims to be a qualified doctor.
2. Dr Mephisto, who will prescribe you nothing unless he examines you first. (Personally I would not trust a man with the name of a demon as far as he could be thrown.)

Both seem more suitable choices to me than depending on something as unknown to us as magic, but as I said before, the choice remains yours.

[Well, hey Taka. Fancy seeing you here. Reading the note she couldn't help but smile a little. He was always thinking of her. After a moment, she went to go write a letter back to him.]

Dear Simon,

I haven't heard about them before this, but I'll take whatever leads I can get. I was also told about a Dr. Jude, but I haven't been able to talk to him about it yet....

Is there a way to meet them?

[Taka will happily accept the treat and let Athena tuck the note into the kerchief around his neck. No hawk attacks here! For once.

An hour or so later after Taka has flown off, Athena will receive a reply.]

The directions to Dr Mephisto's office are attached to this letter. You will have to contact Dr Kimishima yourself by crystal -- I do not know where she practices.

Found your note. And since I sure as hell didn't leave those chocolates and neither did Haru.... I'm guessing that was you and what the note was about?

Next time a heads up though, I was so confused! Probably would have helped if I found the note before or with the chocolates though instead of way after, huh?

[The last time she got a message was from Simon, so the sight of the bird is a little surprising. She knew she'd probably hear something from Rin after her attempts to help him out in her own way after realizing the power of the chocolate.

Laughing a little at the note, she started to write back.]

Rin,

I had to try something. It's Valentine's Day, after all. If you found the note before the chocolate, you probably wouldn't have done anything with it.

You have to let me know if anything good came from it. It wasn't easy to sneak those in, you know.

You know, I don't really have any female friends back home. There's just my sister. So I don't know if that's women's intuition or the fact that you are a trained psychologist, but yeah, you're probably right, I would have gotten rid of the evidence before Haru could find it. But it worked out, whatever. We realized that we def didn't give them to each other. And then he "gave" them to me anyway.

So yeah, it was kinda nice.

How the hell did you even get in anyway and more important, how did you keep Bluey from finding them?

He's trying to rein in his general glee and excitment just so he can play it cool a little bit, but hiding emotions is not something he's particularly skilled at, so it's likely some is leaky through the connection despite his rather neutral "sounding" tone.]

[Once Athena realizes she's being pinged, she immediately turned her attention to notice a ecstatic looking Rin.]

Hey sure! What's up!

Ah, well, you know about that huge stupid crush I have on Haru, right?

Well, he apparently felt the same.

[Yeah, he's way too happy and unable to keep from mentally grinning his fool head off.]

So we're, uh, I guess we're going out now? Heh!

[There's a few mixed emotions coming from Athena, but one thing is for sure. Athena was definitely happy to hear that.]

That's great! I'm so happy that it worked out for you guys! It's about thing. I almost thought that the chocolate thing was for nothing.

[If she couldn't have who she wanted, one of them should at least be happy, right? And besides, It's not like it was a priority for her or anything...]

Stupidly, I think the chocolates really did help even though we royally confused ourselves over that! [A throaty chuckle.]

But... thanks. For that and well, just being supportive and encouraging before I got up the courage. Though, che, he still kind of coaxed it out of me after all. I guess I was taking too long, heh.
