Athena has a very special power. She has very sensitive hearing. Or rather to be more exact, she can hear the discord in a person’s voice. This discord is caused by misplaced feelings that should be otherwise not fit.
She uses Analytical Psychology in court (and sometimes outside of court). It has actually been very beneficial and had brought out the truth in effective ways. With the help of Widget, her necklace, she can bring up what is called the “Mood Matrix”. It can act as a therapy session in order to calm down a defendant/witness to allow them to give a level headed testimony.
Outside of court, Athena tries not to intrude on somebody’s emotions. Every now and then, she’ll question about it. Although she really keeps it to people close to her (Apollo, Phoenix, and Simon). In court is a different situation.
Because of this reasoning, I feel that it's important to make this permission's post. So if you could fill this out for me, it would be very helpful to know who I can use this on.

Can Athena hear your muse's discord?: sure
If your muse is good at hiding emotion, how much could she hear?: Whatever you think is appropriate at the time. Akira has a lot of practice putting on faces that get the best results in a situation, which in and of itself is probably really obvious after a while to anyone who knows what to look for. Getting a read on what he's actually feeling isn't impossible but would certainly be more of a challenge.
What would she hear?: Depends on the situation, probably; I'll keep in mind to include cues when threading with her. Most likely it's going to be something along the lines of "nowhere near as sure of himself/what he's doing as he looks like".
Is there anything else I should know?: This is actually something that someone does to him in canon, funny enough - there's a blind NPC who says that she's become very good at getting information from voices, then immediately remarks that Akira hides his real feelings a lot. So...yeah, that much should be very obvious.
Beyond that might be tougher, because lol not completely human; demonoids tend to be sharply self-interested,and a lot of what's going on in Akira's head is feeling that he Wants something and then a conscious process of "okay, I want thing, how do I get thing".
