If your muse is good at hiding emotion, how much could she hear?: About 70% of it? I'd imagine the magical girl powers may hinder some of it but not too much. What would she hear?: Homura's pretty shy on the inside despite the cold front she puts on. She gets anxious around the topic of friendship and violently passionate about Madoka specifically. She also keeps a lot of secrets about what a Puella Magi is and most of the stuff that's around it (ie. Soul Gems, Witches, so on), but since Athena wouldn't know who they were I don't think this would be much of an issue? She gets a little sensitive about Time Travel because that's part of her powers thing.
Also, she probably has a little bit of despair in her voice if stressed out? But it's most likely not going to be a huge deal bar weirdly specific psychological crises.
